Tour Duration & What to Expect

Plan for approximately 3 hours total:

  • 30 minutes – Check-in, waivers, safety gear, and pre-ride briefing

  • 90 minutes – Guided UTV driving through desert terrain

  • 40 minutes – Stops at scenic and historic locations

Note: Times may vary depending on group size and pace. Tours often run slightly longer to ensure a relaxed and enjoyable experience.

Historic Mining Site

Explore an abandoned mine dating back to the 1800s. While entry is not permitted for safety reasons, you’ll get an up-close look at these fascinating remnants of the Old West.

China Ranch Oasis

Visit the hidden oasis at China Ranch, located deep within the Amargosa Canyon.

To ensure the best experience and avoid extreme temperatures:

  • November, December, January, and February: Arrive by 9:00 a.m. 

  • March, April, May, and October: Arrive by 8:00 a.m. 

  • June and September: arrive by 7:00am (These months can reach temperatures to hot for comfort and safety. Do to any heat weaves, tours may be cancelled in which case a full refund will be applied.)

Note: Tours may be rescheduled or canceled during extreme heat conditions for safety. Full refunds will be provided if this occurs.
